Motherboard and graphics card repair
Yes, we repair motherboards and graphics cards. We always start with a diagnosis, so you know the problem really is the board or the card and not something else.
There's no fixed price for this, because it depends on the fault. After the diagnosis you get a fixed price and you decide whether we go ahead. Whether a repair is worth it also depends on the age and value of your computer, and we'll tell you honestly.

If your PC crashed and won't start again, begin with a few safe checks.
1. Check the power. Is the power cable plugged in properly? On a laptop, connect the charger, wait five minutes (not one) and try again.
2. Look and listen. Do lights come on, does the fan spin, do you hear beeps? Note it down, because it helps the diagnosis.
3. Fan running but a black screen? Try another monitor. If you get a picture, the problem is the screen or its connection.
Still not working? Stop there. Searching further without test equipment rarely solves it and can cause extra damage. Bring it in: diagnosis usually within one working day, a fixed price before we start, and no fix means no repair costs.

We advise you to back up your important files yourself first. If that doesn't work, we'll do it for you in consultation.

An SSD upgrade is usually ready within 1 to 2 working days.
We move all your files and programs over, so your computer is ready to use right away. The cost is €129 (excl. SSD).
If we can't repair your computer, you pay nothing: no cure, no pay.
We talk honestly about the options, such as safely moving your data to a new device.
On repairs we give 3 months warranty on our work and on the part we fit. On new products 1 year, or longer if the manufacturer offers that.
If the same defect comes back within that time, we fix it at no extra cost. New damage isn't covered, such as a drop, liquid, misuse or work done by someone else, and neither is normal wear. Not sure? Bring it in: we'll take a look and tell you the cost up front.
